I find that this class is extremely helpful especially for
students that will soon stepping to the other chapter of life which is career phase
or working phase (students in the third or fourth year). But, we always get
reminded by the counsellor that, it will be the best if you join when you are
at your first or second year. This is to make sure that you can make early preparation
to your workplace later on and also where you are going to have your internship
or also called, latihan industry (LI) in Malay.
Every week, our counsellors will invite Human Resource
department from any organization to give talk about how to apply a job in today’s
working requirements. Some of them are Maybank, RHB bank, Cempaka School, Xremo
and Career Cube.

We are nation builders! Dato’ Freida from Cempaka School once
told us during her last visit in the class. She remind us to switch off your phone
or you have to use it wisely which will bring lesser disadvantages for yourself
than the advantages itself. Many excuses from the fresh graduates that they don’t
get hired after several applications. Thus, before graduates you have to think
what you are good at? In order to get hired, we as a student must get prepared
with all the skills needed and attain suit yourself to the new workplace
environment. After getting the job, you must learn to love the job, make the
boss love you and make the company needs you and insecure to lose you. Other than
that, never put a value on yourself until you worked for them. Make it right for
you and make your jobs better.
